Our parish food pantry continues to operate at St. Cornelius where it has been located for many years.
There are some changes coming over the next few weeks. We haved moved from the basement of the rectory to the St. Cornelius church building. This is to prepare for the eventual sale of that part of the facility.
The sale of the school, rectory, and convent at St. Cornelius is moving along and will likely close within 60 days!
We are also changing the operating hours for individuals to “shop” at the pantry. Effective July 6th, we will be open from 10 am – 12 noon on Tuesdays.
We continue to benefit from donations of non-perishable goods. We need the following items
on a regular basis:
- Cooking Oil
- Pasta Sauce
- Salt & Pepper
- Canned Vegetables
You may leave these donations in the box in the back of church or in the shed next to the gymnasium. The shed is accessible 24/7.
May God bless all those who have helped with the Food Pantry over the last year, especially Dave McNaughton, Melisa Moroko, Deacon John Rottman, Deb Lyons, Joe and Delia O’Connor, Jerry and Shannon Nelson, Len Strauch, Mark Stemper and all the many other unsung heroes…your reward will be great in heaven.
