As we discussed last week, we have begun the process of forming the directly mission-focused Parish Pastoral Council.
The Parish Pastoral Council is an advisory and implementing body that acts as a source of guidance to the Pastor. The purpose of the parish council is to foster full participation of the entire parish in the life and mission of the parish and of the Universal Church.
Councils offer what no expert can offer: perspective on what is right for a particular parish.
The initial phase of forming the Parish Council will be through a nomination process. This gives you a chance to nominate yourself or someone else with a brief explanation of why that person might be a good candidate for such a council.
The goal is to have the nomination process completed by June 18th. The orientation meeting will be held in church on Monday, June 28th at 6:30 pm.

Please complete your nomination form as soon as possible and return it to the Rectory or send sn email with your nomination information to Jim Madura at email@example.com.
