Pack the Pantry Drive WAS A GREAT SUCCESS !

Thank You to all who helped – our Parishioners, the School Students, the Religious Education Students and Hitch Elementary School

Please Note Our New Hours – Tuesdays from 9:00 am – 10:00 am

We are looking for volunteers to shop regularly for the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Food Pantry. In addition to the food donations that we receive, we supplement our food pantry with purchased items.

Volunteers would be given a shopping list of items to purchase at stores such as Aldi and Dollar Tree.

We would like to establish a group of shopping volunteers who can be scheduled once or twice a month.

Please reach out via email: food‐ or by calling or texting Jerry Nelson 773‐316‐7896.

The St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish Food Pantry is operating out of its new location on our Main Campus.

The new location is in the lower level of the Gym Building at 5859 N. Moody. Entrance will be off the parking lot behind the Church.

You may drop off your donations in the box in the church vestibule (daily until 5:00 pm) or in the shed just to the right of the gym entrance on Moody (any time).

The Food Pantry hours are Tuesdays from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.

These times provide some flexibility for volunteers and patrons while avoiding conflicts with School drop-off, recess and pick-up.

Sign-Up Genius will be used to communicate the need and scheduling of volunteers.

The St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish Food Pantry is a ministry of our parish with the objective, for those who serve and are served, to experience the unconditional love of Christ. It is through experiences like this that we can all grow in our relationship with God and know that we are loved.

It is also our hope that as we continue to unify our “new” parish, that this ministry will be a means to enhance our relationships with our fellow parishioners as we work together in performing the corporal work of mercy of feeding the poor.

Love & Peace,
Shannon and Jerry Nelson
