At Illinois State University, Mike & Tina Small received the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association – “Lifetime Achievement Award” for their significant contributions to Girl’s Basketball in the State of Illinois of which they started at St. Tarcissus in the early 1970’s. They are pictured with Mr. Basketball Jabari Parker and Ms. Basketball Tyra Buss.
