Parish General – Christifidelis Award for Ryan and Darlene Duggan

This award is given each year by the Archdiocese of Chicago recognizing the leadership of parishioners and the service they provide their parishes.
This award was bestowed on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Holy Name Cathedral by the bishops of each Vicariate. The Duggans received their award from Bishop Kane, who is our bishop for Vicariate II.
Ryan and Darlene have demonstrated their service to the parish community in various ways. They have spearheaded the parish auction to benefit our school for the past few years. Ryan has served on our school council as well as on the local planning team for the new Pope Francis Global Academy, which will open in August 2016.
Along with their three daughters, Ryan and Darlene have modeled great family life and have created a firm spiritual foundation for themselves and their family. They are always here, attending Mass regularly, where they both are ministers of communion at Mass. They are always ready to be involved and help with the needs of the parish, doing so with big smiles and great generosity of spirit.
They are most deserving of this award and we congratulate them. We are proud to call them parishioners, and are grateful for all that they are and do for St. Tarcissus.
