Holy Name Society – Men’s Club

The St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Holy Name Society is the men’s organization of the parish, based firmly on the Gospel and the most Holy Name of Jesus.

We welcome all men of the parish in the spirit of joy and openness to participate in this sense of community. We strive to develop Christian fellowship by promoting faith, community service and mentoring the youth. We believe that in such virtue lies our hope for the future.

We welcome all men at the parish to join us in forming this ministry. The Holy Name Society performed vital roles in parish life at two of our founding parishes (St. Tars and St. Cornelius) and we hope to make it a vibrant ministry at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity.

The Holy Name Society / Men’s Club donates money and services to various parish organizations such as the School, Athletics Sports Programs, Youth Group and the Parish Scouting Program as Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Some past projects include remodeling the Auditorium Kitchen and the large Meeting Room in the rectory, offering transportation services for the Parish Mission, sponsoring C.Y.O. basketball, and the purchase of new tables and a big screen TV for the Auditorium.

The Holy Name Society initiated and continues to oversee in the formation of the Tuition Assistance Program by seeking annual donations and providing tuition assistance for families in need when a parent of a St. Elizabeth of the Trinity student dies.

The Holy Name Society sponsors various events / fund raisers. Two of our most popular are the Annual Golf Outing and Family Picnic at Indian Road Park and a yearly Super Bowl Party.

Other activities have included a Bear’s game trip, Cub’s trips to Milwaukee, NCAA Final Four parties and the annual “Big 10 raffle” and Pizza Party for the benefit of the School. These are just a few of the many fun events, some for the men only, some for couples and others for the entire family that the Holy Name Society has sponsored.
