Religious Education Program – First Day of Class and Ice Cream Social

Religious Education First Day – Saturday, September 21 was the first day for the new year of Religious Education here at St. Tarcissus Parish. It was a very busy day for the kids, parents, and volunteers. This year’s Religious Education enrollment figures are up over last year, and we welcomed several new Catechists (teachers to the program).
The morning started with a brief prayer before the children went their catechists to classrooms to begin the year’s lessons. Parent’s had a parent orientation in the large cafeteria. After the first class session was over students and families were invited to a welcome back ice cream social, sponsored by the St. Tarcissus Faith Formation Committee.
