Religious Education Program – RE Classes Learn About our Sharing Parish in Rwanda

On Saturday, October 5 over 100 of Religious Education students and catechists learned about our sharing parish and school in Rwanda from parishioner Bobbie Dumelle.
Bobbie recently visited the sharing parish in Rwanda. She spent a week meeting families and children to find ways we can help improve the lives of the people in our sharing parish. Bobbie shared pictures and stories with the children.
Bobbie taught the group that no-matter how poor the families were they always find a way to share the necessities of life (school supplies, cloths and basic food) with their neighbors. The RE catechists are working (with Bobbie) on a project so each class can adopt a family in Rwanda. We will report our success stories about how our kids learn to share with others, even if they are on the other side of the earth.
