September 17 is  Catechetical Sunday nationally where we honor the priesthood not only of the ordained but the laity as well.

There will be a special blessing for all RE catechists, certified school catechists, baptism preparation couples and SPRED catechists at the 9:00 a.m. Mass.

Passing on the faith and giving witness to Jesus Christ, not only through actions, but through words, is very empowering to both the giver and the receiver of the Gospel.

Sharing the faith is one of the best ways to grow in the faith and that includes parents, who are the primary teachers of their children by both word and example as God intended.
