Easter Letter from Father Grisolano

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we journey through this Lenten season, we embrace the call to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving – not just as individuals, but as a faith-filled community united in Christ.

We are called to grow together, supporting one another, and sharing the love and joy of our faith with those around us.

Easter is a time of great generosity, not only of spirit but also in our call to care for one another.

Your Easter offering plays a vital role in sustaining our mission and ministries. Through your generosity, we can continue to extend Christ’s love in tangible ways, reaching out to those in need and nurturing the spiritual life of our parish.

Your support enables us to continue the work that St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish does, bringing the light of Christ into the lives
of so many.

I invite you to prayerfully consider making a one-time Easter gift to ensure that our parish remains a beacon of faith and service.

Contributions may be dropped in the collection basket, sent to the parish office, dropped in the rectory mailbox, or given online at:
Faith.Direct/IL795.

Beyond financial support, I invite you to share your time and talents. As we continue to renew and strengthen our parish, we are all called to discern how we can best serve our parish family and community. Whether it’s through evangelization efforts, liturgical ministries, outreach programs, or volunteering in our food pantry or with St. Vincent de Paul, your involvement brings our faith to life.

To volunteer, please contact the parish office.

Most importantly, I extend a heartfelt invitation for you to join us in celebrating Easter at one of our Masses. There is no greater joy than coming together as a community of faith to worship, give thanks, and rejoice in the Resurrection of our Lord.

Our Easter Mass schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, April 19 (the Great Easter Vigil) at 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday April 20 at 7:30, 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (Spanish)

Please know that you are a cherished member of our parish family.

Whether you can join us in person or in spirit, your presence is a gift and a blessing to our community.

May the hope and joy of Christ’s Resurrection bring peace and abundant blessings to you and your loved ones this Easter season.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and grace-filled Easter!

Your brother in Christ,
Fr. Mike
