In addition to being Divine Mercy Sunday the last Sunday in Easter is Ozanam Sunday and our Conference gathered after the 9:00 am Mass around the baptismal font to renew our commitment as Vincentians.

Deacon Greg started us with this beautiful quote from our beloved Pope Francis, “we are born to help each other”.

We chose to gather around the baptismal font because our work in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA is one of the ways we give expression to our baptismal call to bring the love of Christ to others and to proclaim the Good News of Jesus to those who are poor and suffering.
