I am excited to be part of the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish Pastoral
Council. I grew up in St. Thecla Parish where my grandparents, parents, and my husband and I chose to raise our families.
I am a proud alum of St. Thecla School. My husband of 25 years, Jerry, is an equally proud alum of St. Cornelius School. Catholic education has been incredibly important to us.
We have 5 children ranging from 23 to 14 years old. Our 4 oldest graduated from St. Thecla School and our youngest was a member of the first graduating class of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity School last year.
At St. Thecla ,I was active in several ministries and campaigns including:
- Religious Education
- School Board
- Finance Council
- Eucharistic Minister
- Sharing Christ’s Gifts
- To Teach Who Christ Is
- Renew My Church
As we formed St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, I was honored to be included
in the Unification Committee. I continue as a Eucharistic Minister and our children are ushers and lectors.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and am a Director at Northrop Grumman.
I hope to bring the leadership characteristics that I have perfected in my professional career to our community.
I am also active in organizations supporting individuals with special needs and have a passion around inclusion. We have a child with Down syndrome and a child with OCD who along with our typically developing children continue to teach us every day.
My mom, Nancy, who has joined us in the transition from St. Thecla to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, often reminds us that we are blessed with the gift of a strong faith – words her mother shared with her.
I believe we have a responsibility to share this gift with our Parish community and beyond.
