Hi all, here’s the latest Altar Server schedule.

Despite the weather, attendance has been great, all through the Christmas season & even now into the “dog days” of January.

The quality of Serving has been great also. Our priests all know that, no matter who the Servers are, they will know what they are supposed to do and they will do it well.

That’s a credit to the prayerfulness and dedication of our Servers…and to the strong support they receive from their parents as well.

Thank you all.

One area that could use some improvement is Funeral Servers. The good news is that when there’s a Funeral outside of school time, we have gotten volunteer Servers every single time we’ve needed them going back for at least 2 years.

The troubling news is that we’re getting these Volunteers from only about 1/3 of our Servers! That means that almost 2/3 of our Servers have not volunteered even once to serve a Funeral when there was no school.

I’d love to see those numbers change a little bit for the better.
