Students are hypothesizing whether their lima bean can grow without soil.
They are placing a seed wrapped in a wet paper towel inside a Ziploc bag in a sunny place.
Data is being recorded and sprouts are being measured daily.
This project enables students to learn about plant needs, such as water,
warmth, and air, by observing the roots and stem develop over a period of 7-10 days.
