We recently received a letter from the Archdiocese of Chicago addressed to Fr. Deo and signed by Cardinal Cupich.

In the letter the Cardinal congratulated Fr. Deo and the people of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity for exceeding its 2026 Annual Catholic Appeal goal of $43,532.

The letter expresses both the Cardinal’s gratitude and the gratitude of the entire local Church.

He closes by asking us to pray for him, and our brothers and sisters throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago and the universal Church.

And Cardinal Cupich’s final line of the letter reads:

“May we receive with gratitude and share with generosity all the great, good things God has given us.”
