The St. Vincent De Paul Society, St Elizabeth of the Trinity Conference are happy to announce our 2020 Christmas Sharing Program!
Gifts collected from our Christmas Sharing Program will be distributed to the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels. The Mission of Our Lady of the Angels is in the West Humboldt Park area on Chicago’s west side. This area is presently one of the poorest neighborhoods in Chicago.
The purpose of the Mission is twofold: to assist the materially poor and to share the treasure of our Catholic Faith.
We ask that you purchase a gift valued between $20 and $25. Please do not wrap the gift –
gift bags are acceptable.
Also note that all items must be new. The gift should be returned to the St Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at the masses on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th.
Due to the strict Covid-19 guidelines, we are requesting that no clothes be purchased which require
a size.
Contribution Suggestions :
Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Socks & any clothing items not requiring a size
For Girls : Craft Kits (Sewing, Beads etc.), Jump Ropes
For Boys : Model Plane/Trains/Cars, Toy Cars/Trucks, Basic Sports Equipment – ESPECIALLY Basketballs
