Beginning on the weekend of October 4 & 5, 2025 (Respect Life Sunday), our parish will be participating in The Baby Bottle Project benefiting The Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland.
This non-profit organization directly assists mothers and families experiencing crisis pregnancies by offering emotional, financial, material, and spiritual support through counseling, clothing & monetary provisions, prayer, and other aid.
Each year the three locations together have over 5,000 appointments with expecting mothers. By God’s Grace, The Women’s Centers have saved almost 41,000 babiesand their mothers’ from abortion since opening in 1984.
Please take a Baby Bottle home with you from the church on October 4/5, fill it with your spare change, and return it the weekend of Oct. 25/26.
This is a simple, but crucial fundraising effort for The Women’s Centers.
Please note the Baby Bottles cost almost $1.00 per bottle and are recycled afterwards so please return upon completion of the project.
Thank you for helping defend life and remember to keep all pro-life undertakings in your prayers.
If you are donating by check, please make it payable to:
The Women’s Center.
Thank you for your support!
OCTOBER IS RESPECT LIFE MONTH
With great joy we celebrate October as Respect Life Month amid the Churchs Jubilee Year of Hope.
The daily headlines remind us of how desperately our world is thirsting for the hope that only God can provide.
the gift of human life exists as a sign of hope to our world today, defying the powers of darkness and
the culture of death.
It is of the utmost importance that we work to ensure that every life, in every stage and circumstance, is protected in law.
This Jubilee Year we are challenged to be agents of hope to those whose hearts are burdened by trial, difficulty,
or suffering, offering them the hope that comes from Christ Jesus alone.
– Bishop Daniel E. Thomas of Toledo,
Chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Pro-Life Activities
Since 1973, the Catholic Church in the United States has observed October as Respect Life Month
Every year, thousands of women facing an unplanned pregnancy come to The Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland for help.
Many of them are vulnerable and actively seeking abortion. Each woman who enters our doors is met by someone who sincerely cares and believes in her.
We accompany them to resolve challenges and eliminate barriers that stand in the way of choosing life.
Are you a Registered Nurse or RDMS with a heart for mothers and babies? Have you felt called to share your gifts to contribute to the culture of life?
If so, The Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland might be just the place for you!
We are looking for a Staff Nurse or RDMS interested in performing ultrasounds (training provided) to continue our critical mission.
