Adult Formation – RCIA Visits the Shrine of All Saints

On Wednesday, January 31, 2018, St. Tarcissus RCIA (joined by several volunteers from the Religious Education Office) took a short trip to the Shrine of All Saints in Morton Grove, IL. At the current time, the shrine is home to relics of over 1,800 Saints of the Church. Fr. Dennis O’Neill, Pastor of St. Martha’s Parish (home of the shrine) gave an informative presentation on Relics and the Saints before letting us explore.
The experience was a history lesson about the Church and Saints. The Shrine of All Saints is a place you should visit if you like history or you want to learn more about the Saints. Great Catholic history is so close to home.
