How can YOU help advance our Parish Vision?
Quietly and diligently the members of the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) regularly meet to prayerfully consider practical matters of parish life. PPC members offer advice and perspectives to the Pastor as well as providing feedback on parish programs.
The PPC also looks to the future and suggests ways the parish can promote growth in engagement, membership, and active discipleship.
Like any advisory body, it is vitally important that the PPC have a diverse group of parishioners in terms of age, background and ethnicity in order to wholly represent the entire parish community.
In addition, it is appropriate that PPC serve limited terms.
Currently, we have a couple of openings on the PPC and are inviting parishioners to think and pray if they could use their talents to make our parish stronger by becoming a PPC member. Candidates should be parishioners who love their faith and parish community, attend Mass faithfully, and have a genuine interest in the future of our parish.
They should also be able to attend one meeting per month, typically on Monday evenings. In addition to monthly meetings, there is an expectation that members meet for 1-2 hours a month for PPC subcommittee work.
PPC members serve in staggered terms from 1-3 years.
