My name is Kathy Collins. I am honored to be the Operations Director of the new St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish.
I was very fortunate to have had many years at St. Thecla Parish in several roles and will always cherish my time there as well as the people I had the pleasure of knowing. I have been blessed with another wonderful opportunity here at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish.
I know that the merging of St. Cornelius, St. Thecla and St. Tarcissus has not been an easy task but the possibilities are amazing. All three Parishes have so many wonderful people in them that come to St. Elizabeth with history and traditions of their previous Parishes.
Blending all of these traditions together along with the talents and gifts of all the parishioners will help St. Elizabeth become a flourishing Parish on the Northwest Side of Chicago. One we can all be proud to be a part of, where we can practice our Faith to grow spiritually and a school that is stable and growing each year.
My job and my personal goal is to take as much as possible off Father Michael Grisolano’s plate so that he can concentrate on helping us all get to Heaven. A simple but truthful statement.
I grew up at Our Lady of Victory Parish and am the youngest of 6 (not at all the spoiled baby though!) My siblings and I had wonderful parents that taught us the importance of family and faith. I have four amazing children who have all become incredible adults, I am a very lucky lady.
I look forward to meeting all of you and working to make St. Elizabeth of the Trinity the very best it can be.
