Pastoral Council

ST. ELIZABETH OF THE TRINITY Parish Pastoral Council

The St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish Pastoral Council, or PPC, is an advisory board made up of the pastor, two staff members and ten parishioners.

This board exists as the result of Vatican II, Canon Law and Archdiocesan policy. It exercises a shared responsibility for the pastoral life of the parish under the leadership of the pastor.

What we do

The PPC acts as advisors to the pastor and has four basic responsibilities:

  • research the wants and needs of the parish.
  • encourage and support existing ministries and organizations within the parish.
  • evaluate the quality of life within the parish.
  • plan for the future by recommending policies, procedures, and programs that will implement the parish’s values and fulfill its Mission Statement.

When and where we meet

We meet monthly on the third Monday, September thru June in the rectory at 7 pm.
