The Book of Remembrance & the Prayer Wall

Near the Baptismal Font, on the back wall of the church, you will find two areas where you can write your personal intentions.

On the wall nearest the Baptismal Font, you will see the “Book of Remembrance” on a stand.

There are pages for each day of the week. You can write names in the spaces provided. The idea is for others to pray for these people.

Occasionally, we will also include an intention as part of the General Intercessions that includes “…and for those listed in our Book of Remembrance.”

On the opposite side of the main aisle, you will see a board labeled “Prayer Wall.”

Blank card can be found to the left of the pew. Write out a specific intention on the card are place it in one of the pockets. You are asked to put your initials and the date at the top of the card.

Others are then asked to take a card out and to pray for one of the specific intentions. They are also asked to write their initials and the date at the bottom of the card.
