In 2020 the parishes of St. Cornelius, St. Tarcissus and St. Thecla were merged to form St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish.
These three proud parishes had served Northwest Side side of Chicago Catholics in matters of Faith, Education and Community for almost a century. While the physical form will now be mostly consolidated at the former St. Tarcissus location, the spirits of all the former parishes will always be integral parts of the new parish.
As we begin a new chapter and a new history, the histories, traditions and people of St. Cornelius, St. Tarcissus and St. Thecla will never be forgotten.
